The Rollin’ Roast – A Coffee Brand Story

What happens when a commercial photographer with a love for speciality coffee decides to create a brand of her own? The Rollin’ Roast is an independent mobile coffee business I created in Norrtälje, Sweden. A little olive green cargo bike serving speciality coffee, homemade bakes and a good dose of conversation. But behind the coffee is a story of creativity, community and building something from the ground up. As a food, beverage and lifestyle photographer based in the Stockholm region, I spend much of my time telling other brands' stories. With The Rollin’ Roast, I have had the chance to tell my own. From developing the visual identity and photographing the products to creating lifestyle images, playful short-form videos and social media content, I have approached The Rollin’ Roast as an ongoing creative storytelling project. It's about capturing the little details, the coffee being poured, the homemade cakes, the everyday moments and the people who stop for a chat. Because the best brand photography isn't just about making something look beautiful. It's about creating a feeling, building a connection and giving people a story worth remembering.
